HOLLIS & SONS, BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND', African express leaf and ladder rear-sights, missing fore-sight blade, hump backed sporting style action with top mounted safety lever, foliate scroll engraving enclosed within decorative borderlines, the operation lever is not of the standard hook form, but is curved with a small circular grip at the bottom and fits into the pistol grip, two piece walnut stock, chequered fore-end with horn nosecap, the butt with iron butt-plate and chequered full pistolgrip, some chipping where the wrist enters the action
